‘Nanjangud Nanjunda’ a remake of Tamil film ‘Dindugal Sarathy’ (a remake of ‘Vadakku Nokki…. Malayalam film) went on the floors last week at Dharmagiri Sri Manjuntha Temple in Bangalore. Television actor and singer Ravishanker who got good mileage from his debut film ‘Payana’ is playing the lead with a Malayalam actress Hamsini in the female lead.

Srinivas Prasad who directed the mythological film ‘Prachanda Ravana’ is heading the megaphone and Ravichandra is scoring music for six songs. Suresh who was an assistant in the camp of cameraman R Giri is independently handling the camera.

The Tamil film ‘Dindugal Sarathy’ is changed here according to our nativity and presented in the hilarious style says director Srinivas Prasad. There is psychology element in this film in protagonist. The shooting will be held in the temple town Nanjangud near Mysore and some parts near Srirangapatna the talkie portions will be completed. Two songs will be shot in Coorg district. Veteran of Kannada cinema KSL Swamee is in a comedy role with another comedian Nagaraj Kote.
